LITERACY: Week from the 11th to the 15th of May

Hi Everyone!!!

This week we are going to finish UNIT 5! We are going to learn how to go shopping for clothes and we are going to write an information text and then you are going to send it to Teacher Ana.

IMPORTANT- Check that you hace completed all the activities from last week before you continue.

TASK 1- SHOPPING FOR CLOTHES

1. We are going to go shopping today! Go to page 65, activity 1. Read the questions.

2. Listen to the dialogue. In your NOTEBOOK answer the questions of the activity 1.

3. Go to activity  2. In your NOTEBOOK write the correct option.

4. READ the Say it! box.

5. Now, think you are going to go shopping. Complete this dialogue in your NOTEBOOK with your own answers.

TASK 2- INFORMATION TEXTS

Now, we are going to do a writing about information texts.

1. Go to page 66 in your book. READ activity 1 and 2.

If you don't know some words you can look them up in this ONLINE DICTIONARY.

2. Now, go to page 67, activity 1 in your book.

In your NOTEBOOK, write the missing words to complete the information text.

3. Let's go to activity 2 now.

READ the 'HOW TO WRITE'... BOX.

4. Now, answer the questions in your NOTEBOOK about the texts.

5. Now, let's write!! First, we are going to plan our writing. Think about what information text you are going to write about. Think about a traditional dress in our country or the clothes you need to wear for a special sport.

In your NOTEBOOK, copy this planning and complete it.

6. In your NOTEBOOK write your information text using the planning your have done before.

Your writing should be around 100 words.
