Literacy tasks: Week from 20th to the 24th of April


Hello to all!!

VERY IMPORTANT!!!!

IF YOU HAVEN'T DONE ANY ACTIVITIES FROM THE PREVIOUS WEEKS, PLEASE, DO THEM BEFORE YOU CONTINUE WITH THIS WEEK'S TASKS. THANK YOU!


PLEASE CHECK THAT YOU HAVE COMPLETED THESE ACTIVITIES:
 - You have watched the video from EDPUZZLE (Week from the 23rd of March to 27th of March)
 - You have completed the test about IRREGULAR VERBS.(Week from 30th of March to 2nd of April)

If you have any doubts or you need help, just let me know! I will help you with everything!

The last day to do these activities will be this Friday, the 24th of April.

TASK 1

We are going to go to page 60 in our notebooks. 'TEAM TALK'

First, we are going to go to activity 1. We are going to listen to a dialogue between Lara and Bobby about school uniforms.

Listen to the dialogue and answer with the expression that goes with the sentence.

TASK 5
Now, we are going to go to page 61, activity 1 in our books. In your NOTEBOOK write the adjectives that appear in the dialogue.
Do you know what all the words mean? If not, look in the dictionary to find out the meaning.

TASK 6- GRAMMAR - TOO AND NOT....ENOUGH

Page 61. Activity 2. Read and copy the grammar table and the orange box in the GRAMMAR SECTION of your NOTEBOOK.

TOO AND NOT....ENOUGH

We use too and not enough when something is inadequate.

TOO + ADJECTIVE
When the amount of something is more than needed/wanted we can use too + adjective.
It is only used in negative situations.

EXAMPLES:
These trousers are too long.
Your t-shirt is too plain.
I'm too tired to play tennis today.


NOT + ADJECTIVE + ENOUGH

EXAMPLES:
We use not+ adjective + enough when something doesn't have the correct amount or the level needed.
This hat isn't big enough for my head.
The trousers aren't confortable enough.
The shirt isn't smart enough.

Now, you have to complete this on-line worksheet. Read the instructions carefully and write the answers in the box.
Becareful with spelling and puntuation marks! If you don't spell the words correctly it will be marked as a wrong answer...😓

Write your name and surname and your class (5ºA, 5ºB or 5ºC).

    he intentado entrar para hacer la ficha y me dice que no puedo entrar.Lo he intentado varias veces y se me hace imposible.

    1. Buenos días.
      Hay que pinchar en la frase donde pone Grammar worksheet - too and not...enough. Se encuentra justo debajo de la imagen donde aparece la ficha. NO HAY QUE PINCHAR EN LA IMAGEN.
      Espero que ya puedas acceder, sino me dices y buscamos una solución.
